I use this product in the evening. First I double cleanse, use a glycolic acid toner then apply the retinol followed by my moisturiser. I have found my skin to have a lot less break outs since using this and is much healthier in appearance. I haven’t really noticed a difference in fine lines. The product itself is very oily and takes a while to sink in, not great when you are tired before bed but it is worth it for the results. I started with the 0.2% product as a precaution but I think I’m ready to move up to the 0.5% active content soon. I just need to finish the bottle.

I am in my mid 30's with combination, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is medium brown, combination with coarse texture.
I bought this after reading how good retinol is for fine lines and I was disappointed. I use it every other night (probably for the past 4 months) And my skin is smoother, plumper and has a lovely glow. I used to have quite bad acne so I was sceptical of using an oil on my face but I would really recommend this product, I’m almost out and I will be buying it again in a stronger concentration.

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with oily, light tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is dark brown, processed with normal texture.
I have been using this for around a month now and the results have been brilliant. In the first 2-4 days I had minor breakout but they literally came and went. Since then my skin has been glowing, my pores have shrunk and my skin feels amazing. I highly recommend this gets added to your skincare routine it’s insane and for £4.80 it’s a bargain. I’m ready to move to the 0.5 but nowhere has stock!
I didn’t change the rest of my routine, I just slipped this in every evening in between my usual serum and night cream.

I started using this Retinol around 6 weeks ago as I have hyperpigmentation and scarring from hormonal acne. My skin type is combination, with dry under eye area. I apply the product as part of my night time routine - cleanse, tone and then apply two drops of the Retinol all over my face. I leave it for about 5 mins and then apply a night cream. I normally resemble a grease ball but by morning it has all absorbed. I've not experienced any reaction in terms of dryness, redness or peeling and I think my scars and pigmentation have slightly reduced as has the overall look - brighter & healthier.

Retinol 0.2% in Squalane offers a water-free solution containing 0.2% retinol-an ingredient that improves the appearance of fine and dynamic lines that arise from a loss of collagen and elastin, while evening skin texture and tone. What's more, this entry-level formula is supported with squalane, a moisturising agent naturally found in your skin that enhances surface-level hydration and helps combat the dryness that can be associated with retinol use. The Ordinary Tip: Start with Retinol 0.2% in Squalane and slowly work your way up to Retinol 0.5% in Squalane and Retinol 1% in Squalane. That said, if you are prone to sensitivity, you may prefer to use newer retinoid technologies, such as those found in our Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion. Note: Once opened, this formula should be refrigerated and used within a three-month period. Caution: Retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation. Sun protection is particularly important when using retinoids. This product must not be used in conjunction with other retinoids including retinol or retinoic acid. This product is not a treatment for acne. Note: When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids such as formulations with Granactive Retinoid or Retinol.
