I have very dry skin, and I need something to hydrate my skin during the day otherwise my face going to become flaky and cakey under my foundation. I’m not a fan of oil based thick moisturisers and think primers, which makes your foundation looks melted, so when I came across this gel based primer I become very excited, but also a little sceptical. But honestly, it’s amazing. It’s very cooling and hydrating when you put on, your foundation stays in place, it’s simply wonderful. And also a little goes a long way, as you only need too use very small amount. For me it’s a win win!

I’ve seen this advertised a couple times now and wondered what it was, thankfully I received it in my Glossybox in October, it is tiny so I pretty much used it all in a week, but I liked it! I used it as a primer (no idea if that’s how you’re meant to use it) but it felt like a jelly primer,
Packaging is cute, I love the design! The hydra veil feels sooo nice and cooling against the skin, I would definitely buy this again, what a lovely product 😍

Loves this made my skin feel great before applying my makeup i did find that if i used after applying moisturiser my skin felt clammy so i use this a few hours after doing my daily skin care routine to avoid that or use as my moisturiser and primer if applying in a rush.
Only need a small amount so although pricey will last

I LOVE this primer. I get excited to put it on because I know my make up will be good and last the duration of the day. I have no worries at all about my make up. I get positive comments on my make up when I wear it. Which tells me all I need to know.
I will be buying another when it runs out!
I’ll hold my hands up and admit this. It took me a few times to work what my skin type is like. If your skin needs moisture and this is affecting your foundation game. I think you should invest in it.
I find it works with various foundations. From high end and drug store (boots/Superdrug brands etc) You could buy the primer if it suited. And pick up drug store foundations. And it works just as well!

This is a fantastic primer, helps my foundation to stay well too without pixelating or giving a blotchy finish. It's well priced although i wish the pots were available to buy bigger as i really do love this product!

A weightless primer with moisturising effects. I would recommend for those with dry skin types and foundations which require a light base e.g. the NARS All day luminous foundation.

Last year I was determined to find a decent primer, I tried Kevyn Aucoin, Hour Glass, Urban Decay, but hated the way they made my foundation look...flat and lifeless! This primer is like nothing I have used before as its a clear gel that sinks into your skin leaving no chalky or sticky residue. I tried days with and without it and my foundation definitely sat better with it and my nose remained shine free for longer. Getting it out of the pot is a pain and it would be better in a tube, but not worth losing a star for. Its pricey but I wasted 3 x more on items that got thrown away.

I was like wow check out that price! I'd never spend that on a primer! Well after getting to trial this little pot of wonder I can see exactly why people will pay that price and I'm on my knees begging for forgiveness for ever doubting this! The gel in a pot is definitely new to me, cool & refreshing yet rich and nourishing and sank in beautifully. My foundation is a glowing light reflect one and I worried it may be too shiny on a hydrating prime but nope I was wrong again. There is nothing I don't love about this and my make up stayed better for longer. Hot power product alert! I'm converted

This primer is unusual in that it is more of a gel and is contained in a pot rather than a tube. However the packaging does look high end and luxurious. A little goes a long way and it glides nicely over the skin. It didn't make my face oily through the day which is a big bonus. It kept my makeup in place all day. I do use a setting powder as well though. I was recommended this before by a makeup artist who uses this on her clients for big events and all day things like weddings and I can see why as it keeps all your makeup in place over a long day. Bit pricey hence the four stars.

I am in my mid 30's with normal, medium tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is light brown, combination with fine texture.
I was dubious about trying this as I have combination skin which can get very oily around the t zone. I needed have worried though, this keeps my skin hydrated and my oils at bay even under a dewy foundation (which I still set with powder). On application it pats easily into the skin and leaves a tacky surface for foundation to adhere to. It hasn’t upset my sensitive skin at all. My one gripe with this is due to the jelly like texture it can be difficult to remove from the pot and I have found that some has been wasted as I have dropped it. Would prefer it in a squeezy tube!
